We should mention about the upset which took place in Grosuplje, where higher ranked Grosuplje (7-7) lost at home to tenth ranked Nova Gorica (5-9) 71-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Nova Gorica. Grosuplje managed to win fourth quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Guard Marko Marcetic (186-79) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Rajko Rituper (202-75) chipped in 19 points and 4 steals during the contest. Nova Gorica will meet higher ranked Hrastnik (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Grosuplje will play against Kraski Zidar in Sezana and hope to secure a win.
