The game in Varna was quite interesting. Fourth ranked NSA (6-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Cherno More U18 (4-5). NSA managed to secure a 7-point victory 84-77 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 28-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. NSA outrebounded Cherno More U18 52-34 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Galimir Tomov (196-88) notched 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Lubomir Zhechev (190-88) supported him with 15 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even 28 points and 7 rebounds by forward Nikolay Stoyanov (195-94) did not help to save the game for Cherno More U18. Guard Dimitar Petrov (180-93) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. NSA moved-up to third place, which they share with Academik PL. Newly promoted Cherno More U18 keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Rilski 2. NSA will meet at home Rilski 2 (#7) in the next round. Cherno More U18 will play against Academik Plovdiv and hope to secure a win.
