Regular Season Round 27: Azovmash - Kryvbasbasket 73-66

The game between third ranked Kryvbasbasket (15-10) and fifth ranked Azovmash (15-10) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Kryvbasbasket was defeated by Azovmash in a tough game in Mariupol 66-73. Azovmash made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Fred House (195-78, college: S.Utah, agency: Lanshire Group) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Ramel Curry (191-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Dmitry Korablev (198-77) who recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Artem Slipenchuk (192-89, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively. Four Kryvbasbasket players scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Kryvbasbasket. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
