There was an upset in Istanbul where higher ranked Usak (8-4) was defeated by ninth ranked Pertevniyal (5-7) 76-71 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 20-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Pertevniyal outrebounded Usak 42-30 including 18 on the offensive glass. Usak was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ali Isik (205-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and guard Soykan Yikilmaz (185-92) who added 20 points and 4 steals during the contest. Loser Usak keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Pertevniyal will face higher ranked Final Genclik (#6) in Bursa in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
