The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Khimik's (8-18) home victory over 12th ranked Halychyna (7-20) in Yuzhny 92-79. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Halychyna was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Curtis Millage (185-81, college: Arizona St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 steals (made all of his eight free throws) and Moldovan guard Andrii Kalnichenko (200-86) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest.
