Leader Fenerbahce Ulker delivered the thirteenth win on Friday night. This time they beat 9th ranked Turk Telekom (7-8) 83-68 in Istanbul. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Turk Telekom. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Fenerbahce Ulker made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international center Oguz Savas (208-87) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Lithuanian center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Mehmet Yagmur (188-87) who recorded 23 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward KZell Wesson (201-77, college: La Salle) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce Ulker has a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-2 record, which they share with Banvit. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker is looking forward to face league's second-placed Banvit in Balikesir in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Besiktas (#5) in Istanbul and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
