ProB top team - SC Rasta Vechta (13-3) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked ALBA Berlin II (7-9) 76-68. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-68. SC Rasta Vechta dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to ALBA Berlin II's 30. SC Rasta Vechta forced 19 ALBA Berlin II turnovers. ALBA Berlin II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Matthew Reid (185-84, college: Cameron) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and the other American import forward Marcus King-Stockton (206-85, college: Colorado) who added 16 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side power forward Andreas Seiferth (206-89, college: ALBA Berlin II) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Tobias Grauel (195-86) scored 20 points. SC Rasta Vechta have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group North with 13-3 record. ALBA Berlin II lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. SC Rasta Vechta will face league's second-placed RSV Eintracht in Stahnsdorf in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
