Regular Season Round 15: Grosuplje - Sezana 88-84

The game between third ranked Kraski Zidar (11-4) and seventh ranked Grosuplje (8-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Kraski Zidar was defeated by Grosuplje in a tough game in Grosuplje 84-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kraski Zidar. Kraski Zidar was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 32-21 charge of Grosuplje, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kraski Zidar's 40. Grosuplje forced 19 Kraski Zidar turnovers. It was a good game for power forward Blaz Lobe (202-84) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Guard Jure Misic (188-87) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Marko Likar (195-78) answered with 19 points and forward Mirnes Husic (203-85) added 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Kraski Zidar. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Grosuplje moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Hrastnik. Kraski Zidar at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Grosuplje is looking forward to face Hrastnik (#6) at home in the next round. Kraski Zidar will play against Litija and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
