Everything went according to plan when third ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (12-4) beat on the road 12th ranked SSV Lok Bernau (2-14) 94-83 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by SG Schwelmer Baskets. SSV Lok Bernau managed to win fourth quarter 27-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They moved-up to second place in Group North, which they share with Stahnsdorf. SSV Lok Bernau lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 14 games lost. SG Schwelmer Baskets will face BSV Wulfen (#5) at home in the next round. SSV Lok Bernau will play against Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
