Terceira Basket (5-6) outlasted Angrabasket (8-3) in overtime by four points 115-111. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Angrabasket. Angrabasket was ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 35-25 charge of Terceira Basket, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 19-15. Angrabasket was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for guard Nate Bowie (183-86, college: Cent.Arkansas) who led the winners and scored 44 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Durrell Nevels (198-86, college: Cent.Arkansas) accounted for 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Power forward Terrence Mack (198-84, college: Rhode Island) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and forward Kevin Jolley (197-82, college: Quinnipiac, agency: Prossin Sports Management) added 24 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Angrabasket in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Terceira Basket moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Povoa. Angrabasket at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Fisica. Terceira Basket will play against Electrico FC (#9) in Ponte de Sor in the next round. Angrabasket will play at home against the league's leader Sangalhos (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
