Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (5-14) was outplayed on the road by ninth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (11-8) 92-71. The game was mostly controlled by Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. Mitteldeutscher BC managed to win third quarter 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven dominated on the defensive end, holding Mitteldeutscher BC to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Mitteldeutscher BC's 28. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to sixth place. Mitteldeutscher BC lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against league's leader Brose Baskets in Bamberg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
