Division A top team - Dunav 2007 (10-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Sportist Svoge (2-8) 97-58. The game was mostly controlled by Dunav 2007. Sportist Svoge managed to win third quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dunav 2007 forced 36 Sportist Svoge turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Sportist Svoge's players. It was a quality performance for guard Christian Borisov (188-88) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 7 steals. Forward Hristo Gospodinov (202-92) accounted for 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Dunav 2007 players scored in double figures. The former international guard Dimitar Stanislavov (190-84) came up with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Zlatko Zapryanov (199-87) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sportist Svoge in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dunav 2007 have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Sportist Svoge at the other side keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Dunav 2007 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sportist Svoge will play at home against Balkan 2 (#5) in Botevgrad and hopes to get back on the winning track.
