Regular Season Round 27: LKKA-Atletas - Delikatesas 69-85

An interesting game took place in Kaunas, where 4th placed LKKA-Atletas (16-9) lost at home to eleventh ranked Delikatesas (8-17) 69-85 on Friday. It was a great shooting night for Delikatesas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. The best player for the winners was swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) who scored 31 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 9 steals. Center Julius Jucikas (205-89) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Delikatesas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) who recorded 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Darius Gricius (195-86) added 20 points respectively. LKKA-Atletas' coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Delikatesas maintains eleventh place with 8-17 record. Loser LKKA-Atletas dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Delikatesas will face bottom-ranked Puntukas (#15) in Anyksciai in the next round. LKKA-Atletas will play on the road against Nafta Universitetas (#7) in Klaipeda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
