There was no surprise in Siauliai where 12th ranked ABRO-Universitetas (7-18) was defeated by eighth ranked Perlas-MRU (12-14) 70-62 on Friday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. Perlas-MRU dominated on the defensive end, holding ABRO-Universitetas to just 7 points in second quarter. ABRO-Universitetas was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was swingman Laurynas Jacevicius (193-88) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (184-88) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and center Ignas Ramasauskas (210-93) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Perlas-MRU maintains eighth place with 12-14 record. ABRO-Universitetas lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 18 games lost.
