Bottom-ranked Oyak Renault managed to get a third victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they won against thirteenth-ranked Aliaga in Bursa 68-60. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-15. But Aliaga won second period 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Gerald Fitch (191-82, college: Kentucky, agency: SportsTalent) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Oyak Renault (3-13) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Mersin. Loser Aliaga dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Oyak Renault will meet higher ranked Bornova (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aliaga will play against the league's leader Fenerbahce Ulker having rather not much hope for a victory.
