There was an upset when higher ranked Istanbul B.B. (7-7) was crushed at home by eleventh ranked Adanaspor (4-10) 77-58 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Uzbekistani guard Denktas Guney (190-78) who scored 25 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Naturalized Uzbekistani center Deniz Gokay (205-78) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Four Adanaspor players scored in double figures. Guard Erden Eryuz (188-80) produced 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Recep Dogrusoz (-86) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Adanaspor moved-up to tenth place in Group A. Loser Istanbul B.B. dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Adanaspor will face league's leader Genc Banvit in Balikesir in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
