Very expected game when 13th ranked Erelita-KTU (7-19) was smashed by fourth ranked Mazeikiai (18-9) in Kaunas 88-67. The game was mostly controlled by Mazeikiai. Erelita-KTU managed to win third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 27-of-33 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while Erelita-KTU only scored eight points from the stripe. Mazeikiai forced 21 Erelita-KTU turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists.
