No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Karsiyaka (10-6) beat at home 11th ranked Tofas (5-11) 76-69. The hosts were already 16 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-14 Tofas' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 76-69 at the end of the game. American forward Andre Smith (203-85, college: N.Dakota St.) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Guard David Holston (170-86, college: Chicago St.) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. The former international guard Can Altintig (195-87) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Ilkan Karaman (205-90) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
