Rather expected game when 13th ranked Konjice (2-14) lost on the road to eleventh ranked KD Postojna (6-10) 89-75 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-75. Konjice was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for guard Matic Zupanc (182-90) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Power forward Gregor Jakhel (206-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. KD Postojna's coach Predrag Milovic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Tomaz Jereb (192-91) replied with 15 points and 5 assists and guard Dean Sipura (194-87) added 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Konjice. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KD Postojna moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Medvode. Konjice lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. KD Postojna will face league's leader Rogaska in Rogaska Slatina in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Konjice will play on the road against Splosna plovba (#4) in Portoroz.
