There was no surprise in Mariupol where 9th ranked BC Odessa (12-16) was defeated by fourth ranked Azovmash (16-11) 92-85. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-21 BC Odessa's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 92-85 at the end of the game. Azovmash made 21-of-22 charity shots (95.5 percent) during the game. Azovmash outrebounded BC Odessa 38-23 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The game was also dominated by American players.
