Regular Season Round 17: Stahnsdorf - Vechta 77-69

There was a change at the ProB leadership position after last games. Round 17 most important game was a defeat of league's leader SC Rasta Vechta (13-4). They were defeated by second ranked RSV Eintracht (13-4) 77-69 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of SC Rasta Vechta. It was a key game for the top position in Group North. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 39-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Alex Moosmann (183-88, college: Cent.Missouri) stepped up and scored 16 points and 6 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Kellen Williams (193-84, college: E.Washington) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. American guard Matthew Reid (185-84, college: Cameron) responded with 14 points, 9 assists and 4 steals and guard Daniel Krause (196-88) scored 22 points. SC Rasta Vechta's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. RSV Eintracht keeps a position of Group North leader, which they share with Schwelm and Vechta. SC Rasta Vechta will play next round against USC Leipzig trying to make it back to the top of the standings. RSV Eintracht will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Spot Up Medien Baskets in Braunschweig.
