Regular Season Round 15: Leipzig - Saarlouis 61-65

The game in Leipzig was quite interesting. Third ranked TV Saarlouis Royals (12-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Leipzig Eagles (5-10). Forward Candace Williams (183-88, college: New Hampshire) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Angela Pace (178-87, college: Robert Morris) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Leipzig Eagles. TV Saarlouis Royals have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains third place with 12-3 record having just two points less than leader Marburg. Leipzig Eagles at the other side keep the eighth position with ten games lost. TV Saarlouis Royals will play against SV Halle Lions (#5) on the road in the next round. Leipzig Eagles will play against Wildcats Wolfenbuettel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
