Rather expected game in Ankara where 8th ranked Darussafaka (6-8) was defeated by fifth ranked Genc Telekom (9-5) 85-68 on Monday. The best player for the winners was guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Murat Goktas (201-87) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Genc Telekom players scored in double figures. American guard Brandon Gordon (201-85, college: Alabama St., agency: EM-PA) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Sertac Sanli (209-91) added 9 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Darussafaka's coach Nenad Vucinic gave the chance to play for ten players seeing no chance for a win. Genc Telekom moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Usak. Darussafaka lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost. Genc Telekom will face FMV Isikspor (#11) in Istanbul in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
