Regular Season Round 19: Amager BK - Aarhus BC 90-77

An interesting game took place in Kastrup where 6th ranked Aabyhoj (8-12) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Amager BK (4-16) 90-77. The game without a history. Amager BK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian forward Nerijus Brasas (200-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Swingman Peter Simonsen (185-88) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Amager BK players scored in double figures. American forward Edward Morris (203-84, college: Pittsburg St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and British-American guard Anthony Martin (186-80) added 14 points in the effort for Aabyhoj. Amager BK maintains ninth place with 4-16 record. Aabyhoj at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. Amager BK's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) on the road.
