Turk Telekom (8-9) outlasted Olin Edirne (9-8) in overtime by five points 77-72. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Olin Edirne won third quarter 22-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Olin Edirne used huge pressure winning it 19-18 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 4-9. Turk Telekom made 27-of-34 charity shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Turk Telekom outrebounded Olin Edirne 40-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. Olin Edirne was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jerome Randle (178-87, college: California) nailed 21 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward KZell Wesson (201-77, college: La Salle) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Renaldas Seibutis (196-85) came up with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Caner Ercan (203-86) added 14 points respectively for Olin Edirne in the defeat. Olin Edirne's coach Gokhan Tastimur tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Turk Telekom moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Antalya. Newly promoted Olin Edirne keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Turk Telekom will play against Antalya (#8) on the road in the next round. Olin Edirne will play against the league's second-placed Banvit and will have a slim chance for a victory.
