The game with biggest result difference took place in Torres Vedras. Local Fisica (9-3) beat 8th ranked Guifoes (4-8) 77-62 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Fisica. Guifoes managed to win fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fisica forced 22 Guifoes turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of Guinea-Bissau center Anastacio Sami (207-76) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Amadeu Cordeiro (192-78) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Miguel Faria (187-80) with 16 points and Iranian-American guard Behdad Sami (183-86, college: Linn Benton CC) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Guifoes' coach Rui Gomes rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fisica moved-up to third place, which they share with Sangalhos and Angra. Newly promoted Guifoes keep the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Electrico FC. Fisica will meet at home Povoa (#6) in the next round. Guifoes will play against Alges and hope to secure a win.
