Regular Season Round 20: Aarhus BC - SISU 66-92

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Aabyhoj (8-13) was crushed at home by eighth ranked SISU (8-13) 92-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Donald Rutherford (198, college: Catawba) who added 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four SISU players scored in double figures. American forward Edward Morris (203-84, college: Pittsburg St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and the former international power forward Mads Frandsen (202-90) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Aabyhoj's coach Allan Foss gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. SISU moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Aabyhoj. Aabyhoj lost third consecutive game. SISU will meet at home higher ranked Naestved (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aabyhoj will play against the league's second-placed Svendborg and hope to secure a win.
