We should mention about the upset which took place in Rhoendorf, where higher ranked BG Karlsruhe (9-9) lost to thirteenth ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (6-12) in a road game 79-89 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BG Karlsruhe. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 53-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Dragons Rhoendorf dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to BG Karlsruhe's 40. Dragons Rhoendorf forced 19 BG Karlsruhe turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Sanijay Watts (193-87, college: Cent.Missouri, agency: Limelight Hoops) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds.
