Regular Season Round 30: Perlas-MRU - Radviliskis 77-72

The most important game in the last round took place in Vilnius between second ranked Radviliskis (19-9) and eighth ranked Perlas-MRU (14-14) on Saturday night. Radviliskis was defeated by Perlas-MRU in a tough game on the road 72-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Radviliskis. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Radviliskis won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Swingman Laurynas Jacevicius (193-88) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Perlas-MRU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Audrius Mineikis (202-77) who recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Mantas Pukinskas (198-89) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Perlas-MRU have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 14-14 record. Radviliskis at the other side dropped to the third place with nine games lost. Perlas-MRU are looking forward to face league's leader Pieno Zvaigzdes in Pasvalys in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Radviliskis will play at home against Zalgiris-Sabonio in Kaunas and is hoping to win this game.
