There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked USC Freiburg (5-13) defeated at home higher ranked Webmoebel Baskets (8-10) 108-103 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 29-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. USC Freiburg dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Webmoebel Baskets' 38. They outrebounded Webmoebel Baskets 45-31 including 16 on the offensive glass.
