Very important is a road loss of third ranked Kraski Zidar (12-5) against seventh ranked Hrastnik (9-8) on Saturday night. Visiting Kraski Zidar was defeated by Hrastnik in Hrastnik 89-74. The game was mostly controlled by Hrastnik. Kraski Zidar was better in third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Hrastnik forced 21 Kraski Zidar turnovers. Kraski Zidar was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Drago Brcina (203-87) stepped up and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Matic Babic (-90) chipped in 10 points and 7 assists. Center Vito Furlan (198-90) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mirnes Husic (203-85) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Hrastnik and five Kraski Zidar players scored in double figures. Kraski Zidar's coach Miroslav Juric rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hrastnik maintains seventh place with 9-8 record. Kraski Zidar at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Splosna plovba. Hrastnik will play against Triglav Kranj (#13) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kraski Zidar will play against Radovljica (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
