The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sofia: Lukoil Academik (#1) and Levski (#2). Lukoil Academik (17-0) won against visiting Levski (14-3) 93-85. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Levski. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-85. Lukoil Academik made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-0 record. Levski at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. Lukoil Academik are looking forward to face Chernomorets (#7) in Burgas in the next round where they are favorite. Levski will play on the road against Euroins Cherno More (#5) in Varna and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
