There was no surprise in Angra Heroismo where 9th ranked Electrico FC (4-8) was defeated by seventh ranked Terceira Basket (6-6) 80-70 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 27-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Terceira Basket made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game, while Electrico FC only scored nine points from the stripe. Terceira Basket forced 20 Electrico FC turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Nate Bowie (183-86, college: Cent.Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and the other American import power forward Durrell Nevels (198-86, college: Cent.Arkansas) who added 12 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Four Terceira Basket players scored in double figures.
