Regular Season Round 15: Kepez Bld - Beykoz 96-53

The game between second ranked Kepez Bld (11-4) and 9th ranked Beykoz (4-11) in Antalya on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Kepez Bld outscored guests from Istanbul 96-53. Kepez Bld shot 61.0 percent from the field. Kepez Bld outrebounded Beykoz 41-25 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Beykoz's players. It was a good game for American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Swingman Cihan Amasyali (191-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Kepez Bld players scored in double figures. Forward Enis Bayrak (204-89) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Erkan Inan (192-89) added 11 points in the effort for Beykoz. Beykoz's coach Gencer Baytimur gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kepez Bld maintains second place in Group B with 11-4 record behind leader Genc Banvit, which they share with Hacettepe Univ. Beykoz lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. Kepez Bld will face Akhisar Bld (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Beykoz will play against Gaziantep.
