Rather expected game when 16th ranked Oyak Renault (3-14) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Bornova (6-11) 84-73 on Sunday. Oyak Renault was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-82) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Tyler Smith (201-86, college: Tennessee) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
