The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Gaz Metan (15-4) in Medias on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked CSM Bucuresti (10-8) 80-73. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Gaz Metan. Gaz Metan was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 25-15 charge of CSM Bucuresti, which allowed them to win the game. Gaz Metan at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. CSM Bucuresti are looking forward to face Brasov (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
