Bottom-ranked BC Kyiv managed to get the second consecutive victory on Monday night. This time they won against tenth-ranked BC Odessa 88-81. BC Odessa trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 37-28 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 81-88 at the end of the game. BC Kyiv outrebounded BC Odessa 43-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Oleg Saltovets (202-77) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Center Maksym Sandul (207-91) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. BC Kyiv's coach Vitaliy Cherniy used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
