3rd placed Naestved (14-7) fell to seventh ranked SISU (9-13) in overtime by three points 91-94 on Thursday night. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 21-11 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 3-point victory in overtime. SISU made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Naestved turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Naestved helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward Donald Rutherford (198-87, college: Catawba) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). His fellow American import swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Peter Johansen (205-80) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay (OH)) added 19 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Naestved. SISU moved-up to sixth place. Naestved at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. SISU are looking forward to face league's leader Bakken in Aarhus in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Naestved will play at home against Aabyhoj and is hoping to win this game.
