Regular Season Round 16: Pi Koleji - Adanaspor 79-68

Date: February 5, 2011
Very predictable result in Ankara where fourth ranked Genc Telekom (11-5) defeated 10th ranked Adanaspor (4-12) 79-68 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and naturalized Azerbaijan power forward Orhan Haciyeva (201-89) who added 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Genc Telekom players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Jason Keep (208-78, college: San Diego, agency: Diamond Athletes Agency) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Uzbekistani center Deniz Gokay (205-78) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Adanaspor's coach Behcet Uner rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Genc Telekom have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Orman Genc. Newly promoted Adanaspor keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. Genc Telekom will face Usak (#5) on the road in the next round. Adanaspor will play against FMV Isikspor (#11) in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
