The game between sixth ranked SL IAT Leotar (11-8) and 10th ranked Kakanj (6-12) in Trebinje on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. SL IAT Leotar outscored guests from Kakanj 80-54. The game was mostly controlled by SL IAT Leotar. Kakanj managed to win second period 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by power forward Igor Josipovic (203-88) who scored that evening 12 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Serbian forward Nikola Durasovic (199-83) supported him with 13 points. Four SL IAT Leotar players scored in double figures. SL IAT Leotar's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds by guard Ashar Dedic (193-86) did not help to save the game for Kakanj. Center Amar Suljagic (210-88) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. SL IAT Leotar moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sloboda Dita. Kakanj lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. SL IAT Leotar will meet Varda HE (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Kakanj will play against Mladost in Mrkonjic Grad and hope to secure a win.
