Not a big story in a game in Diedorf where 12th ranked Baskets Konstanz (3-16) was defeated by third ranked Leitershofen (14-5) 81-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Leitershofen. Baskets Konstanz was better in third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baskets Konstanz was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Devin Uskoski (198-85, college: Rocky Mountain) fired 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Michael Mathey (188-87, college: W.Liberty St.) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Robinson Louisme (201-84, college: Tulane) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and forward Eduard Foth (196-88) added 8 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Leitershofen. They moved-up to second place in Group South, which they share with Licher Baeren and NBC. Baskets Konstanz lost their fourth game in a row. Baskets Konstanz at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Leitershofen will face TSV Troester (#7) in Breitenguessbach in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Baskets Konstanz will play at home against Oettinger Rockets Gotha (#8).
