There was a small surprise in Siauliai where thirteenth ranked ABRO-Universitetas (9-21) smashed 10th ranked Silute (11-18) 78-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. ABRO-Universitetas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. ABRO-Universitetas outrebounded Silute 43-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Tomas Miezis (195-91) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and swingman Povilas Rasamavicius (195-87) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four ABRO-Universitetas players scored in double figures. Power forward Erikas Kaupaitis (202-84, college: USC Upstate) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-87) scored 17 points. ABRO-Universitetas maintains thirteenth position with 9-21 record. Loser Silute keeps the tenth place with 18 games lost. ABRO-Universitetas will face bottom-ranked Puntukas (#15) in Anyksciai in the next round.
