The game between third ranked RSV Eintracht (13-6) and fifth ranked USC Leipzig (10-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. RSV Eintracht was defeated by USC Leipzig in a tough game in Stahnsdorf 69-74. The guests trailed by 13 points at the halftime before their 43-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. USC Leipzig dominated on the defensive end, holding RSV Eintracht to just 6 points in third quarter. American forward Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) fired 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Ralph Schirmer (203-86) chipped in 9 points and 16 rebounds. Four USC Leipzig players scored in double figures. USC Leipzig's coach Dimitris Polychroniadis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. USC Leipzig are looking forward to face higher ranked Hertener Loewen (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. RSV Eintracht will play against the league's leader SG Schwelmer Baskets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
