No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Mazeikiai (20-11) smashed at home 7th ranked Nafta Universitetas (17-14) 79-57. The game without a history. Mazeikiai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard Bryan Harrison (188-84, college: Georgia Coll.) nailed 18 points and 7 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import swingman Jason Warren (201-84, college: Missouri Western) accounted for 13 points and 12 rebounds. Warren is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Mazeikiai players scored in double figures. Forward Julius Kazakauskas (197-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Nafta Universitetas in the defeat. Mazeikiai moved-up to third place, which they share with Meresta. Nafta Universitetas at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 14 games lost. Mazeikiai's next round opponent will be Perlas-MRU (#8) in Vilnius which should be theoretically another easy game. Nafta Universitetas will play at home against LKKA-Atletas in Kaunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
