The game in Varna was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Balkan 2 (7-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Cherno More U18 (6-8). Balkan 2 managed to secure a 8-point victory 83-75 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 48-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Balkan 2 forced 20 Cherno More U18 turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Georgi Boyanov (195-93) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Forward Ivaylo Vuchkov (200-90) helped adding 13 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Nikolay Stoyanov (195-94) with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Angel Natskin (182-93) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Cherno More U18 players scored in double figures. Balkan 2 moved-up to fifth place, which they share with NSA and Rilski 2. Cherno More U18 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Balkan 2 will meet at home Rilski 2 (#5) in the next round. Cherno More U18 will have a break next round.
