Regular Season Round 35: Azovmash - Dnipro 87-62

Third ranked Azovmash (20-12) crushed at home 5th ranked Dnipro (17-16) by 25 points 87-62, which is the biggest margin this round. It looked good early as Dnipro took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Azovmash had a 28-11 second period charge getting the lead and Dnipro was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-87. They outrebounded Dnipro 49-34 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Fred House (195-78, college: S.Utah, agency: Lanshire Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Demetrius Alexander (204-75, college: Alabama) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Azovmash have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains third place with 20-12 record having seven points less than leader Budivelnyk. Dnipro at the other side keeps the fifth position with 16 games lost. Azovmash's next round opponent will be Mykolaiv (#6) in Mykolaiv.
