Important game to mention about took place in Istanbul. Tenth ranked Adanaspor (6-12) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging 8th ranked Darussafaka (8-10) 62-60 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Darussafaka. It was a good game for American center Jason Keep (208-78, college: San Diego, agency: Diamond Athletes Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Naturalized Uzbekistani guard Denktas Guney (190-78) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American guard Brandon Gordon (201-85, college: Alabama St., agency: EM-PA) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and guard Tugberk Gedikli (192-91) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Darussafaka. Darussafaka's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Adanaspor maintains tenth position in Group A with 6-12 record. Loser Darussafaka dropped to the seventh place with ten games lost. Adanaspor will face higher ranked Usak (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
