Regular Season Round 21: Finke Baskets - Hannover 101-87

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Hannover Tigers' (7-14) road loss to tenth ranked Webmoebel Baskets (10-10) 87-101 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Webmoebel Baskets. Hannover Tigers was better in third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Webmoebel Baskets forced 22 Hannover Tigers turnovers. Hannover Tigers were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Kejuan Johnson (193-85, college: Long Beach St.) who scored 25 points and 4 assists. Guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Calvin Henry (198-86, college: Mercer) who recorded 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Michael Nunnally (203, college: Pacific) added 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively. Five Webmoebel Baskets and four Hannover Tigers players scored in double figures. Webmoebel Baskets moved-up to eighth place. Hannover Tigers lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Webmoebel Baskets will face Dragons Rhoendorf (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hannover Tigers will play against USC Freiburg.
