Kirchheim Knights were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. His fellow American import forward Frank Young (196-84, college: W.Virginia) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Crailsheim Merlins' coach Ingo Enskat allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Marcus Smallwood (198-82, college: N.Illinois, agency: Court Side) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and naturalized American power forward Ryan De Michael (205-77, college: Tennessee-Martin) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kirchheim Knights. Crailsheim Merlins have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Kirchheim Knights at the other side dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost.
