Regular Season Round 18: Antalya - Turk Telekom 77-63

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Antalya and 9th ranked Turk Telekom had identical 8-9 record. This time Antalya used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Ankara 77-63. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Antalya's pressure prevailed and they won that period 27-16 extending their advantage to 14 points. They also forced 20 Turk Telekom turnovers. American forward Bradley Buckman (203-84, college: Texas) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Muratcan Guler (192-80, agency: 1x1 Sports) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Antalya players scored in double figures. Even 12 points by Slovenian-Italian guard Sani Becirovic (195-81) did not help to save the game for Turk Telekom. Guard Mehmet Yagmur (188-87) added 10 points and 5 rebounds. Turk Telekom's coach Faruk Akagun tested ten players saving starting five for next games. Antalya maintains eighth position with 9-9 record. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the ninth place with ten games lost. Antalya's next round opponent will be higher ranked Banvit (#3) in Balikesir and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Turk Telekom will play at home against Erdemir (#12).
